This is a Garden Apartment attached to the house at 126 Kelvin Drive, Morningside Manor (opposite Gary Avenue between Rivonia Road and Bowling Ave), Sandton. It can be described as an attached cottage, a self-contained apartment, or a garden flat. Either way, it is bigger than the average one-bedroom Sandton townhouse! The accommodation is close to major taxi routes, the Sunninghill bus route, and the future BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) route. Your rooms would be in the safest and most up-market area of Johannesburg, close to the Rivonia and Woodmead office hubs and just a short drive from the Sandton CBD.
The flat has one large bedroom with en suite bathroom, big fully-equipped kitchen (microwave too!), open-plan split-level lounge and dining room, patio, and covered double carport. It is fully furnished and serviced including laundry. The apartment has its own garden and patio with table, umbrella and four chairs with cushions. There is shared use of the swimming pool (cold at this time of year) and thatched lapa (entertainment area). The property is particularly secure itself, and located in one of the safest parts of Johannesburg.
Whats Included? Everything you need for a long and comfortable stay: Rates, electricity, water, gas, TV with M-Net, SuperSport, and 1 channel DStv, washing and ironing twice a week, daily cleaning on weekdays, bed linen, towels, toilet paper, parking, burglar alarm system and armed response.
Optional Extras: The Apartment has two telephones there is no connection charge, but outgoing calls are charged at Telkom rates + 50%. Available by arrangement: Breakfasts, dinners, internet access, faxing, scanning and printing facilities. We can provide an extra single bed for tenants who prefer to sleep separately.
The Apartment is north-facing with large windows so it is sunny and bright even in winter. It has its own entrance, a private portion of the garden and a patio with a table, umbrella and chairs with cushions.
The Apartment has an internet connection and could be used as a home-office if you want to mix business with pleasure.
There is a separate burglar alarm system with armed response. The grounds are fully enclosed by walls and a paling fence. The driveway has a remote-controlled automated gate, for which controls are supplied.
We offer you a lease for a six-month or one year period, renewable. The deposit is two month's rent, repayable within a week of departure.
You will enjoy your stay more if you like dogs and cats, as we have several of each. No pets of your own are allowed except by prior arrangement, and no smoking indoors. There are obligatory House Rules covering mainly energy conservation, recycling, noise and security.
