Taste of India is a newly-opened Indian Restaurant and Take Away. Mild, medium or HOT, all food is Halaal. Vegetarian starters and main courses, bunny chow, Roti, kebabs, naan, tandoori, curry and rice: chicken or lamb, biryani, seafood, dosa, salads, chips. Special Sunday buffet. Bring your own wine (no corkage charge).

Special Sunday Buffet (Lunch): R80 per person.

Special Lunch Box take-away: Non-Vegetarian R50, Vegetarian R40, Quarter Tandoori Chicken and Chips R30.

Catering for all occasions.

Electronic payments, all major credit cards, cash and cheques are accepted.

Directions to get to Taste of India, Early Dawn Mall, Rivonia, Sandton:

From Central Sandton, take Rivonia Road going north (away from town). Pass through Morningside and pass the McDonalds on your right on Mutual Road / 7th Avenue. Turn right at the next traffic light before Lindsay Saker (9th Avenue).

 

From N1 Motorway, take the Rivonia off ramp. Turn South (towards central Sandton) into Rivonia Road. Pass Wessels Road, 12th Avenue, 10th Avenue and then turn left into the slip road at Lindsay Saker (9th Avenue).

At the first Stop street in 9th Avenue, turn right into Rivonia Boulevard (southbound).  As you turn, Taste of India Restaurant is on the corner on your right.

Turn into the front parking, 20m from the corner on your right.  If this parking is full, go through it and turn left out of the parking: You are now northbound on Rivonia Boulevard.  Turn left around the corner into 9th Avenue (you are now going back the way you came in).  Take the very first turn left and the first left again, into the rear parking lot (where "Sheikh's Palace" is), and park.  Walk through the passageway to the front of the centre and Taste of India Restaurant will be on your left at the end of the passage.
